The 2023 Naval Ship Technology & Weapon Systems Seminar took place at Busan BEXCO from June 8th (Thursday) to 9th (Friday). The seminar, held under the theme ‘Strategies on Future Technological Development of Naval Ship and Weapon Systems based on the Fourth Industrial Revolution,’ was attended by naval ship and weapons experts from home and abroad, including from the navy, universities, research facilities, businesses, and government agencies. The seminar served as a venue to introduce the latest technologies and engage in academic exchanges.

The seminar ended in a success in line with the world recovering from the aftermath of the global pandemic. More than 1,000 experts in naval ship technology and weapon systems from the relevant industries, academia, government, and the military attended the event to showcase Korea's outstanding maritime defense technologies, while actively sharing the latest information and technologies in advancing Korea as a maritime powerhouse, based on the latest science and technology. It was once again confirmed that the Naval Ship Technology & Weapon Systems Seminar plays a pivotal role in enhancing the industry-academia-government-military cooperation and synergy in R&D.​
