The Spring Research Meeting of the Naval Architecture & Ocean ICT Convergence Technology Research Committee was held on July 6th (Thursday) at Building B Room 223 of the Korea Research Institute of Ships & Ocean Engineering (KRISO). The research meeting provided a venue to share a total of seven topics in academic research and industrial convergence related to ICT convergence technologies.

In the first academic research session, Jang Jun-Kyo from Gyeongsang National University presented a technology for analyzing the impact of failure diagnosis rate in the characteristics extraction of vibration data, while Kim Hyung-Jin from Inha University presented a technology for applying neural networks (DANN) for reliable diagnosis of failures in correlation with changes in the operating environment of ship equipment. Kim Hongtae and Min Cheonhong of KRISO introduced the risk assessment-based virtual training platform development technology for offshore fisheries sites and a technology for monitoring the structural integrity of offshore structures.

In the second session, Kim Sung-soo of ADIA Lab introduced an integrated surveillance system, which was built to construct a social safety net based on AI technology. Kim Dong-gun from MTESS introduced the implementation of a gate for collecting, relaying, and aggregating sensor data within a manufacturing company.
