The first academic presentation conference of the Smart and Electric Ship Research Association was successfully held at KAIST, Daejeon for two days from February 23rd (Thursday) to 24th (Friday), with over 130 industry-academic professionals in attendance. Over the course of two days, 17 researchers representing research in smart autonomous ships and electric propulsion ships in Korea delivered presentations on their latest findings, technological trends, and future prospects of the sector. The Smart and Electric Ship Research Association Academic Conferences will continue to serve as the venue for sharing technologies on smart and autonomous ships and electric propulsion ships, while promoting exchanges among the researchers.
