The 56th Ship & Offshore Design Research Committee Conference was held for two days from February 23rd (Thursday) to 24th (Friday). Hosted by K Shipbuilding, the conference took place at Changwon National University, and proved to be a significant occasion for promoting active discussions and exchanges among colleagues in the field of design. With a record-high of 194 participants in attendance, the conference featured a total of 68 research papers across 6 fields. Each session attracted around 50 participants, allowing active technical and information exchanges. In addition, the conference was followed by Technical and Future Talents Awards Ceremony to encourage members that have actively contributed to the development of the ship and offshore design field and in the activities of the Ship & Offshore Design Research Committee.
