The 54th Winter Meeting of Ship and Offshore Design Research Committee for 2022 was held for two days from February 24(Thu.) to February 25(Fri.) hosted by Ship and Offshore Design Research Committee. The meeting was also held online via Zoom due to situations surrounding COVID-19. About 324 persons engaged in Korean marine ship design industry registered to the meeting and 70 to 90 persons attended each session on average to facilitate technology exchange and share the information among member associations. A total of 45 papers in 6 areas (basic (common)/structure/cabin/electric field/engine/cargo) were presented. There were no special/planned sessions as the meeting was held online.  

The 104th Steering Committee meeting of Ship and Offshore Design Research Committee was held online on March 10 (Thu.). During the meeting, the 16th Chairmen were elected, and members discussed on plans for the upcoming (the 55th) Ship and Offshore Design Research Committee Meeting and for Student Ship Design Contest, and other major agendas of the Society with the attendance of newly appointed chairman Ohmin Ahn and 24 committee members and secretaries of local offices.​
