Korea Towing Tank Conference (KTTC) held its spring workshop for two days from April 25 to April 27, 2022 at Deep Ocean Engineering Research Center of Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean engineering (KRISO). With the attendance of 46 persons from universities, research institutes, and companies, and a total of 12 papers in resistance and propulsion of ships, marine engineering, and seakeeping and maneuvering were presented. As the workshop took place offline in two years due to COVID-19, it became a meaningful event where participants can build friendships, while engaging in intense discussions.

KRISO Deep Ocean Engineering Research Center, the host of spring workshop, commenced the operation of large deep ocean basin as of June, 2021, and it unveiled its operating capabilities as well as one of the world’s best experiment facilities to the members through the site visit during the workshop. KTTC plans to hold its fall workshop in October (place to be determined), and intends to constantly develop experimental fluid mechanics and promote researcher exchanges.
