▶ Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI)
 Signed a contract with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) to design and build an Ulsan-class Batch-III frigate worth a total of 400 billion won

 Received an order for two Aframax crude oil carriers from a European shipping company.
 Won an arbitration trial with the U.S. Pacific Drilling VIII Limited (PDC) over a drill ship
 The arbitration court acknowledged PDC’s liability for damages caused by its unjustified termination of the contract and ordered PDC to pay damages worth a total of $318 million to SHI.

▶ Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HSHI) 
Russia's state-run shipyard Sovcomflot held a naming ceremony for an LNG carrier built by HSHI
Set a new record for moving the world's largest LNG carrier built on-ground to the sea
 The 174,000㎥ LNG carrier ordered by Japan's NYK was built on-ground and successfully moved to a floating dock at the sea using rail.

▶ Korea Research Institute of Ships & Ocean Engineering (KRISO)

Signed an MOU with eight organizations, including Gyeongsangnam-do and the Korea Coast Guard (KCG), 
   at the Changwon Coast Guard dock (In the Fleet No. 3011 of the Coast Guard) in Masan's Gapo New Port
   to cooperate in developing unmanned ship technology
 Plans to transfer the technology for buoyancy support system to the private sector for free
 Signed an agreement on joint technology development of special purpose cargo ship with Korea Design Tech
 Its medium-sized ship design project group will strengthen support for small and medium-sized ship design


▶ Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd.
Won a deal for two MR tankers
 Signed an MOU with RINA for joint developing classification rules and international agreement regulations for the basic design of ROPAX
 Held an 'Agreement ceremony for hull form design for environmentally friendly ships'
 Enhanced competitiveness is expected through improving the performance of feeder vessels
